Job Responsibilities:

• Interface with radio chip vendors to align and coordinate HW and SW issue investigation.
• Champion continuous improvements of our team’s effectiveness and ability to innovate.
• Work with cross-functional teams in new Bluetooth enabled product introduction.
• Responsible for Bluetooth radio SoC bring-up and SW feature prototyping.
• Drive new technology adoption.
• Responsible for embedded Bluetooth SW platform architecture design and implementation.
• Passionately doing all of the above!
• Participate in new Bluetooth radio SoC evaluation and selection.
• Contribute to embedded Bluetooth SW and HW validation and debugging.
• Responsible for creating and managing product specific Bluetooth SW development plan.
• Develop, document, and execute unit and system integration test plans.

Job Requirements:

• Experience in using various debugging techniques including JTAG debuggers, logic/protocol analyzers, sniffers, and oscilloscopes.
• Ability to comprehend EE schematics.
• Demonstrable knowledge in real time OS, or systems programming in general, including mutual exclusion, multithreading, concurrency, interrupt service, error handling, privileged-mode operations, etc.
• Solid understanding of Bluetooth fundamentals including Bluetooth Classic, Low Energy, and LE audio.
• Demonstrable experience in working with HW interfaces such as USB, SDIO, SPI, I2C etc.
• Expert knowledge in C/C++ programming language.
• In-depth understanding of modern embedded SW development processes including design, implementation, unit testing, continuous integration, version control etc.
• Demonstrable experience in developing performance critical SW in resource-constrained environment such as device drivers for high-speed peripherals on Linux and RTOS platforms.

Qualification & Experience:

• B.S. degree in Computer Engineering or Computer Science, or a closely related field.
• Knowledge of Bluetooth audio codecs such as AAC, SBC and LC3.
• Experience with Bluetooth profiles such as A2DP, HFP, AVRCP and AVDTP.
• 5+ years of relevant industry experience.
• Experience with CPU-hosted and self-hosted Bluetooth stacks.
• Experience with over the air Bluetooth protocol and sniffer tools.
