Job Responsibilities:
- In partnership with Talent Acquisition, design, develop, and execute a new candidate sourcing and selection strategy that increases the diversity of our workforce and deepens our talent pipeline for underrepresented races and ethnicities
- Partner with key HR and business leaders to integrate DEI into all of our people and talent processes and drive DEI throughout each function of the business
- Support the People Team in deepening inclusion acumen through facilitation moments, offsites and team development sessions, collaborative consulting, and 1:1 coaching where appropriate
- Collaborate with the TA team to deliver curated Sonos moments that leverage the strength of our intentional flexibility model to source the best talent from the widest available pool
- Manages cross functional team of DEI stakeholders, developing meeting agendas, timely communications, and project plans
- Leverage insights from the business and People team to inform and refine our short and long term DEI strategic priorities and roadmap (ex: anticipated societal moments, employee sentiment, etc.)
- Leverage data from the People Analytics team to assess organizational and functional gaps, identify root cause of failure to meet DEI goals, and develop sustainable talent strategies to address opportunities in representation, hiring, advancement, retention, and sense of belonging
- Collaborate with learning and development to design learning experiences that strengthen organizational comfort with such topics as systemic oppression, microaggressions, racism, intersectionality, and allyship in the tech industry
- Operationalize annual diversity, equity, and inclusion business plans and quarterly DEI business reviews on the status of goals, initiatives, and leader acumen, with clear acceleration plans for businesses most in need of support
- Support the People team in proactively bringing an equity lens into all of our people processes, including frequent assessment of our systems, ensuring program design leads to equitable outcomes, identification and management of risk, and support resolving equity challenges when they arise
- Provide subject matter expertise, consulting, and coaching to grow peer and leader diversity equity and inclusion acumen across all levels of the organization
Job Requirements:
- Proven track record of successfully leading and implementing change management initiatives and processes across an organization
- Entrepreneurial spirit and the ability to easily move between execution and strategy
- Strong project management and executional skills with the ability to drive impact through cross functional teams
- Ability to influence without authority and quickly develop credible, trusted relationships across a range of levels and functions
- Comfortable working with ambiguity and experience driving outcomes cross-functionally
Qualification & Experience:
- Experience strategically driving DEI through Talent Acquisition, HR and Communications, developing successful DEI sourcing and recruitment strategies
- Experience developing the DEI acumen of key stakeholders including senior leaders or HR teams through coaching, training and facilitation
- Experience interpreting and leveraging data to tell a story, inspire and drive accountability while in a geographically dispersed context
