Job Description:
SAP Business Network, the global leader in Business Commerce, is seeking e-commerce account managers to advise and support suppliers transacting with trading partners across the Ariba Network. The DSAM is responsible for proactively engaging suppliers through phone-based campaigns to drive e-commerce capability growth and greater participation in the Ariba community. The DSAM will also provide reactive support to suppliers as required for account management queries. The DSAM will advise on best practices, liaise on technology and integration issues, and support supplier education on the Ariba Network solution. Support for the regions Strategic Supplier Account Managers (SSAM) will also be required
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide reactive and proactive support for supplier customers for account management needs, and triage required support for Billings, Technical Support, Seller Enablement, etc.
- Reporting: Prepare regional reporting as required
- Identify suppliers suitable for Strategic Supplier Account Management
- Organize data, track progress and provide reporting on all outreach campaigns
- Help suppliers maximize the Ariba community experience (LIVE, Commerce Summits, marketing and reference program opportunities, etc.)
- Proactively engage current Ariba Network supplier accounts through phone-based outreach to support adoption and growth of e-commerce capabilities
- Improve the suppliers experience with the Ariba Network through training, best practices, and guidance ultimately increasing Network volumes
- Communicate the value proposition and benefits of the Ariba Network and the Supplier Membership Program and guide suppliers on foundational best practices for all Ariba solutions
- Support regional teams (e.g. Sales, CEE’s)
- Supplier Center of Excellence first point of contact to assign, support and guide Supplier Customers in best practices
- Provide opportunities for peer interaction and collaboration
- Work with and assist Strategic Supplier Account Managers
Job Requirements:
- Self-motivated; works independently with little or no supervision
- Team Player
- Strong telephone presentations skills
- Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills
- English + primarily French and/or other European language would be beneficial
- Highly Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Power point, Outlook)
- Ability to effectively communicate the value of the Ariba Network
- Strong listener with ability to quickly qualify and diagnose customers and motivate them toward upsell and expansion opportunities
- Strong analytical skills. Structured thinking and problem-solving capability
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects in a dynamic, entrepreneurial environment
- Proven record of setting, achieving, and exceeding work-related goals in cold-calling, telephone-based environment
Qualification & Experience:
- Experience handling challenging customer situations
- 3 years account management, customer support, marketing or project management experience
- Bachelors/University Degree (Supply Chain / Business / Marketing / Communications preferred)
