Job Description:

As a senior engineer on the Partner Growth team, you’ll lead development of features to drive growth for Redfin’s Partner Program, a network of vetted external agents who accept customer referrals from our website and mobile apps when our own agents are over capacity. Our mission is to deliver a seamless experience and faster, higher-quality service for the hundreds of thousands of customers each year who get connected to our partner agents. Our systems intelligently match partners and customers together, facilitate their communication on our platform, and onboard new partners into our network. Job Responsibilities:

• Build and optimize the customer-facing experience for requesting service from a partner agent
• Work closely with our product and design teams to understand user and business needs, then help brainstorm solutions and plan out long-term technical roadmaps
• Lead development of projects that drive growth for our Partner Program
• Design and implement complex, technical projects that improve the speed and scale at which customers and partners can connect over our platform
• Work with your peers to design and architect large-scale, performant systems
• Drive productivity for your teammates, by reviewing code, writing documentation, improving best processes, and mentoring individuals

Job Requirements:

• A proven track record: you’ve driven projects to completion and can speak to the impact for the business or the customer
• Full stack experience: 4+ years experience building large-scale, full-stack, customer-facing web applications. Experience working with complex systems and backend services.
• Architecture instincts: you know when to use pre-built technologies and when it’s time to build a tailored solution from the ground up
• Mentorship: you enjoy teaching teammates and creating an environment for learning
• Customer empathy: you obsess over continually improving the user experience
