Job Description:

As a HRIS Data Analyst you’ll be part of the HRIS project team, supporting the planning, preparation and transition of our people data across to a new HRIS & Payroll solution. You’ll provide insights and analytical commentary to identify risks and improvements relating to our data and support the People Team in making the most of available data and be responsible for on-going improvements.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Support the scoping and implementation of any required interfaces between the HRIS solution and other local systems or 3rd party vendors.
  • Provide support and training to teams as part of project delivery.
  • Support the implementation of the new HRIS & Payroll solution by getting heavily involved in the ‘prepare’ phase of the project – this involves auditing existing People information, data cleansing & repair, impact assessments between the as-is & to-be data and process requirements and the delivery of an archiving solution.
  • Be the gatekeeper of all People information and ensure that any changes to processes have a full impact assessment
  • Work with People Teams to identify and create dashboards and templates to aid self-service of standard People reporting (on a monthly/quarterly/annual basis).
  • Develop and maintain all reporting processes to ensure they are kept up to date and incorporate any changes to processes/policy.
  • Seek out opportunities to improve the efficiency, accuracy, and ease of report production.
  • Keep up to date with changes in legislation to ensure that we remain compliant.
  • Identify and document all people reports and assess their format & delivery from the new solution to ensure service is maintained and enhanced as we transition to the new solution.

Job Requirements:

  • Highly numerate with advanced Excel skills
  • A keen interest in delving into the detail to deliver meaningful insights and recommendations
  • Ability to work with extensive data sets to ensure a high-quality output.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
  • Experience of a people system implementation (advantageous).
  • Experience of working with people data.
  • Ability to manage large volumes of sometimes complex data, across a variety of systems
  • A strong awareness of GDPR and always use discretion when working with people data.
  • Confidence to raise issues & risks to the wider project team.
  • Experience of working with Business Objects (desirable)
  • At least 2 years of proven high-level analytical experience
