Job Description:

The analyst is primarily responsible for overseeing the accounting, financial reporting and control functions related to NMG’s payroll general ledger for payroll taxes, garnishment, and withholdings. The responsibilities for this position include assisting with the month end close, preparing monthly reconciliations, analyzing, and reviewing account fluctuations, processing weekly journals, and other ad-hoc reporting requests.

Job Responsibilities:

• Perform general ledger payroll entries for weekly, bi-weekly, and supplemental payroll runs.
• Responsible for preparation of monthly general ledger account reconciliations.
• Assist in the month-end close process including assigned balance sheet account reconciliations, and accruals.
• Review payroll reports and the ability to analyze the data for useful information presentations.

Job Requirements:

• 2-3+ years of accounting experience
• Experience in Oracle and Hyperion is a plus
