Job Responsibilities:

• Identify top cost drivers and work with RAI & RM PUR teams to help reduce, where applicable
• Identifies key new launches for formula optimization with the collaboration of Development Métier Heads and the DMI
• Formalizes, tracks, supports, and provides a Formula Optimization Report to the Head of LUXE Development
• Proposes Value Analysis changes to R&I or MRKTN (as needed)
• Identifies raw materials that can be replaced at lower costs or can be reduced or be removed completely from the formula
• Formalizes, tracks, supports, and provides a Formula Optimization Report to the Head of LUXE Development
• Analysis to identify expensive raw materials and determine the basis of the cost (geography, availability…etc)

Job Requirements:

• 8+ years of experience in proven Quality or Formulation work, preferably in the cosmetics, or related field
• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering or a related technical discipline a plus
• Travel to vendors and plants will be a requirement (10-15% of time)
• Proficient PC skills – Proficient in the use of MS Project. MS Office software (Outlook, Word, Excel & PowerPoint) and capable of building presentations in Excel and/or PowerPoint.
• High Proficiency in communication skills (written & verbal), to be able to deal effectively with all levels of our organization AND our suppliers organizations.
• Good organizational skills to manage the documentation, materials and information as needed on each project.
• Must be team oriented and able to create strong relationships with all cross-functional teams.
• French Language skill is a plus
