Job Description:

Our Regional Construction team is seeking a Construction Analyst or Construction Assistant to join their Atlanta Real Estate Property Office. This role will be based out of Atlanta but also supporting the Construction teams in the Carolinas. This role provides day-to-day support to the Construction Team. You will ensure projects are properly set up, assigned and tracked. A successful candidate will be able to navigate difficult situations, find solutions, and work in an ever-changing environment.

Job Responsibilities:

• Review complex ordinances and zoning codes to determine development parameters
• Provide daily support to the Development & Construction team by monitoring entitlement progress, bidding processes, assisting with construction meetings and organize and review construction site documents
• Develop, maintain and, monitor all site development and construction budgets and financial reporting
• Enter and maintain all data in programs and systems while ensuring upkeep and accuracy
• Assemble and review documentation required for Change Order Approval
• Collaborate with Real Estate Managers on projects during site acquisition and entitlement process
• Prepare and organize training content for internal training courses

Job Requirements:

• In lieu of degree, 4 – 6 years of experience in related field will meet the education requirements listed above
• Bachelor’s degree with relative construction experience
• Knowledge of construction means and methods, building codes, health and safety regulations
• Problem solving and analytical skills with a strong attention to detail
