Job Description:

Expansion is responsible for implementing our retailing concepts and securing that we fully utilize our assets in the new world of IKEA – all at lowest cost, with economy of scale and sustained
profitability.

Job Responsibilities:

• Take lead in working across functions within Ingka Group and collaborate with other IKEA units
• Responsible for steering group reporting
• Accountable for the project budget
• Document lessons learned through the project phases as well as a secure final report after the customer meeting point opening
• Take lead in driving an open and sharing climate, being a role model of the IKEA values
• Work across different functions and lead people in different projects
• Responsible to make final decisions in a project
• Coordinate the the planning process with Group Expansion
• Responsible to ensure a proper handover of projects to the line organization
• Responsible to deliver a project within time, budget and quality
• Lead positive change, and contribute to building a more unique, inclusive and accessible IKEA
• Take a leading role in the commercial planning and build up activities for the pre-projects

Job Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years of experience of developing businesses and delivering results
• Minimum 3 years as a Project Leader in retail
• Multicultural experience
• Proven advanced training in PPS (Practical Project Steering) for project leaders or equivalent
• Strong Project Management skills
• Minimum 2 years of experience in leading and influencing teams
• Good knowledge and understanding of whole retail IKEA Establishment process (eg.
• Business Case, PDI, Project Design phase and Commercial Brief)
• Strong experience of working and steering through financial tools (eg. Investment Request (IR), P&L)
• Retail country experience
• Experience from managing change in a complex business environment
