Job Description:

This role is the face of Procurement to Downstream and Chemical manufacturing site Turnaround organizations. TA SPOC will manage, analyze, and optimize TA suppliers: introduce new strategies & approaches to the market, incorporate new suppliers, etc. Build strong working relationships with business contacts and suppliers via site visits, supplier tours, and F2F meetings. Share market intelligence with business line contacts to yield a highly competitive business environment.

Job Responsibilities:

• Understand how agreements are being utilized at transactional / operational level
• Own commercial actions (bids, renewals, amendments, etc.) specific to site / Area TAs
• Ensure contract is utilized as intended
• Build relationships with end users
• Optimize compensation method utilization (unit rate vs. T&M vs. lump sum)
• Steward Materials Management & Logistics plans to ensure timely delivery of TA materials and equipment
• Identify efficiencies from leakage, overheads, and third party markup rates and utilization
• Attend / lead strategy meetings — TA Procurement Kickoff, TR Reviews, AMP, supplier reviews, etc.
• Optimize TA Supplier Strategy / Usage by supporting the Procurement organization in development and implementation of category-specific strategy and commercial guidance
• Optimize contractor mark ups
• Identify business value and competitive opportunities within the TA Supplier portfolio
• Partner with site users to understand their view of supplier performance and market landscape
• Understand Agreement Utilization
• Understand Business Line Needs
• Be a Market Expert (with support from Category Management)

Job Requirements:

• A minimum of 3 years of O&G sales, O&G Turnaround planning / execution or procurement experience
• Preference for BS in Supply Chain, Engineering, or other applicable business degrees
• A minimum of 3 years of contracting experience preferred
• Prefer strong negotiation, analytical, leadership, and communication skills
