F&B is a growing area of our work and with the offer at Osborne now coming ‘in house’, having previously been run by a concession contractor, this is a unique opportunity for someone to make their mark as well as develop their career within the successful English Heritage catering team.
Reporting directly to the Head of Historic Properties, you will be accountable for delivering the entire F&B operation at Osborne. This is currently made up of five outlets including a restaurant, large cafe and the award winning Pavilion Ice Cream Parlour located on Queen Victoria’s Private Beach.
- Your experience of successfully managing F&B operations in a complex, visitor focused setting will ensure you can hit the ground running and can focus on future success. The ability to manage large budgets and oversee multifaceted compliance and KPI measures is also essential. In addition, you will also support various catering initiatives, collating visitor feedback and feeding into the overall delivery of the F&B strategy at Osborne.
- You will have a passion for F&B, display exceptional attention to detail with the ability to work under pressure. An excellent people manager, team player and communicator, you will be able to provide great leadership to the catering team whilst also building strong, collaborative relationships with peers, partners and stakeholders.
- You will have experience working within a mix of multi-site small to high environments across a number of secondary and tertiary outlets, as well as proficiency in visual presentation and financial acumen, including the ability to exceed targets and understand how this funds our charitable cause.
