Job Description:

Our Lead Financial Analyst for Sales & Marketing will own the process for Dexcom US financial revenue reporting, analytics and financial evaluation for revenue generating programs for Dexcom US. In addition, this position will partner with regional FP&A leaders to develop & automate consolidation of global revenue reporting and act as the hub to synthesize management reporting narratives. This is a high-visibility role that works as a strategic business partner cross-functionally in a very high growth environment. A successful candidate will have a strong ability to analyze complex data, understand key finance and accounting principles, have excellent communication skills, and experience informing a C-Level audience. This role will require collaboration with Regional and Corporate FP&A, Corporate Accounting, Commercial Forecast, Operations, Sales, Marketing, and Pricing teams.

Job Responsibilities:

• Complete monthly financial reporting and analysis around revenue performance, variances to forecasts, ASP variances, and other key financial metrics to support long term and short term decisions
• Play a critical role in the consolidation of global revenue (actuals and forecasts) as well as develop additional reporting capabilities and analytical models that automate geographic regional and global revenue reporting
• Work cross functionally with the Commercial Revenue Forecasting and Commercial Pricing teams to understand and analyze revenue trends, revenue forecasts, ASP changes, channel shifts, etc. and their effects on business performance for both top line revenue as well as bottom line operating margins
• Ensure U. S. SOX compliance by assisting in quarter-end revenue controls around distributor orders
• Perform ad hoc modeling on Commercial projects that drive our commercial growth strategies
• Work closely with the Accounting and revenue recognition teams to understand gross to net entries and potential deviations from forecast
• Assist with development of full P&L ROI models for market segments, new product launches, and post implementation tracking of key strategic initiatives led by the Commercial organization

Job Requirements:

• Experience with ERP systems, Hyperion Essbase or similar multi-dimensional database EPM program and Finance planning tools
• Advanced knowledge and experience with Microsoft Office products (i.e. Excel, PowerPoint, Word, etc.)
• Report building and data visualization software experience (Tableau, Power BI) a plus
• Experience and comfortable working in a matrixed environment, with the ability to lead cross-functional discussions and solve complex problems
• Ability to build models to assist in the evaluation of the financial impacts behind complex scenarios
