Job Description:
The product manager will be responsible for the strategies of the ACH product and its ancillary services. The responsibilities include short- and long-term product strategy, roadmap, competitive pricing, maintaining infrastructure, seeking efficiency gains, producing product collateral, and developing enhancements and functionalities. The role will be the subject matter expert for ACH and collaborate with both internal and external stakeholders who require their expertise. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of the ACH Rules and other governing regulations and be passionate about the payments industry and emerging technologies.
Job Responsibilities:
- Incorporates the Voice of Customer into product strategy and planning, while assisting Sales with growing new business and retention of key relationships
- With limited management oversight, leads pricing and product strategy discussions with product partners
- Manages the development and implementation of product strategy and functionality with occasional management oversight
- Recognized as the product expert for their assigned product(s), including a strong level of understanding of industry and competitive landscape
- Proactively maintains an open line of communication across multiple lines of business, including sales, operations and IT
- Seeks participation with industry groups and associations
- Actively manages the product rollout (including customer conversion) alongside partners including Sales, Operations, Product, IT, Customer Support, Legal, etc.
- Through continuous interactions with sales, customers and prospects identifies customer needs and opportunities to solve market problems
Job Requirements:
- Microsoft proficient: Excellent level of proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
