Job Description:

Cognizant is looking for a passionate and energetic business development/alliance professional with a background in complex strategic programs/initiatives to join our Strategic Partnership Group (SPG). SPG is chartered with driving significant revenue growth through joint market development programs with Cognizant’s most strategic, global technology partners.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Identify MS license revenue targets for the relationship
  • Identify global training/certification targets
  • Identify Cognizant revenue targets for MS-supported deals
  • Provide deal support for opportunities with significant MS solution component
  • Define joint account planning targets for pro-active business development
  • Successfully execute on existing global MS-Cognizant partnership plan and achieving/exceeding partnership goals with additional focus on revenue/pipeline
  • Outline joint marketing plans
  • Establish connects and help foster collaboration between sales/account/practice leaders and our MS field sales and alliance teams.
  • Collaborate closely with Cognizant’s business unit leadership to orchestrate successful joint go-to-market programs and joint account planning exercises.
  • Define strategic joint go-to-market programs with Cognizant business units and Google
  • Enhance and expand new GTM initiatives with inputs from key stakeholders across Cognizant’s business units

Job Requirements:

  • Strong business acumen and leadership skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Technical undergraduate degree preferred; MBA a plus
  • Prefer a candidate with existing Microsoft relationships and/or prior experience selling/delivering with Microsoft
  • Experience working with/for Global System Integrators and/or global IVSs/Technology Vendors such as Microsoft, AWS, Google, Oracle, HP, SAP etc.
  • Team player with strong drive and willing to take a leadership role in driving initiatives, working effectively across organizations, and creating unique approaches to developing new revenue opportunities
  • Extensive experience with partnership negotiations and technical acumen to define the joint strategy for the strategic initiatives
  • 10-15 years of experience in business development, partner management and/or strategic deal teams, with a track record of exceeding revenue goals and driving successful programs
