We are looking for a financial writer in early career stages or just starting out to join our publishing team in New York to produce ground-breaking thought leadership across media platforms.

Job Responsibilities:

• Interacting with senior BII staff and BlackRock portfolio managers to put together investment insights
• Writing, editing, data mining, fact-checking and designing BII publications across media platforms
• Partnering with Marketing, Media relations, Legal & Compliance and BlackRock’s Client Channels to amplify BII publications

Job Requirements:

• A self-starter with loads of creativity, team spirit and versatility
• Passion for global financial markets and economics
• Ability to work very quickly, deliver on deadlines and go above and beyond
• Excellent organizational, representational and leadership skills
• Intense attention to accuracy, detail and consistency
• Intellectual curiosity
• Ability to use Excel and strong interest in graphics/design
• Ideally some experience in reporting and/or editing positions in financial journalism
• Strong writing and editing abilities, and excellent interviewing skills
