Job Description:

As a Barclays Existing Customer Marketing (ECM) Manager, you will be responsible for the strategy, management, customer experience, and performance for Existing Customer Marketing for our retail partners. Key responsibilities include marketing, stakeholder management, and providing input into strategies related to aspects of existing customer treatments. Your role will determine strategies to maximize performance including early month on book, product upgrades, spend campaigns, and benefits reinforcement.

Job Responsibilities:

• Set the strategy for creative development for existing customer marketing initiatives and campaigns
• Responsible for developing the strategies to achieve growth targets surrounding onboarding of a new customer, drive benefit reinforcement, product upgrades, and spend initiatives
• Develop strategies that ensure continual innovation and improvement to current products, procedures, marketing creative and Existing Customer process
• Provide input into program optimization and turnaround strategies
• Maintaining direct relationship with our segment leadership and partner as well as building and maintaining good, positive relationships with key stakeholders
• Accountable for the strategy, development, management, and optimization of annual marketing budget
• Identify competitive trends in engagement and marketing strategies, while understanding the retail marketing landscape
• Manage financial drivers to maximize P&L performance

Job Requirements:

• Proven, significant experience in marketing or partnership
• Demonstrated leadership ability
• Demonstrated P&L accountability and ownership
• Bachelor’s degree required (Business related field)
• Proven, significant experience of credit card banking industry
• Excellent communication, analytical and decision making skills
• Proven track record of marketing business development and setting strategic direction
