Job Description:

In this role, you will work closely with our global T&C sales and delivery teams, our training partners, and account managers to help their customers translate AWS skills into formal training and certification plans via globally scalable sales programs which are targeted at key customer types and the various phases of their cloud transformation. You will partner with sales teams globally to develop and close a robust pipeline for each sales program by working with customers and partners to understand their training and certification strategies and challenges, developing detailed proposals and helping customers with execution of these plans.

Job Responsibilities:

• Conduct needs assessments with customers
• Develop detailed solutions and proposals to accelerate the adoption of AWS services
• Enable account teams and customers to execute T&C programs
• Build & maintain a pipeline of opportunities and provide regular forecasts for each program
• Maintain a strong relationship with customers and vendors to ensure flawless execution of plans
• Evangelize AWS Training & Certification at company and industry events
• Align priorities between T&C sales leadership and field sales
• Develop new sales strategies and programs with account teams

Job Requirements:

• A technical background in engineering or computer science
• Experience in positioning and selling technology in Fortune 500 accounts
• Experience in identifying, developing, negotiating, and closing large-scale technology or training deals
• Knowledge of Amazon Web Services or Cloud Computing concepts
• Experience assisting customers with training and certification needs assessment and developing strategic training and certification plans
• 7+ years of cloud/technology or technology services sales experience with a in quota-carrying roles
• Experience in proactively growing customer relationships within an account while expanding their understanding of the customer’s business
